Those who have made peace inside themselves and are no longer living lives in the dark, muttering to themselves of imagined slights and small envies.

Who have made peace with their slavish need for praise, adoration and acclaim.

Who have made peace with their insatiable desire for more possessions.

Who have made peace with their sly and subtle need to be seen as useful, as humble, as wise, as caring.

Who have finally made peace with that shrill voice within constantly crying, “me, me, me.”

Such ones are indeed remarkable beings.

May they be praised.
